China's Xi Jinping to announce $46bn deal in Pakistan
Mr Xi will spend two days holding talks with his counterpart Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other ministers. He will address parliament on Tuesday.
Deals worth some $28bn are ready to be signed during the visit, with the rest to follow. The sum significantly outweighs American investment in Pakistan.A network of roads, railways and energy developments will eventually stretch some 3,000km (1,865 miles).

A video purportedly made by Islamic State and posted on social media sites on Sunday appeared to show militants shooting and beheading about 30 Ethiopian Christians in Libya.
The video warns that Christians will not be safe unless they embrace Islam or pay protection money.The killing of the Egyptians prompted Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to order air strikes on Islamic State targets in Libya.

Strong quake hits Japan, Taiwan
A strong earthquake rattled Taiwan and small islands in the far south of Japan on Monday, official monitoring sites said, briefly prompting a warning for a 1-metre tsunami for the Okinawa island chain.
Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau put the epicenter of the quake about 75 km (45 miles) off Taiwan's eastern coast at a depth of about 17 km (10 miles

RBI's dollar purchase touched 7 Year High
The Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) net purchase of dollars touched a seven-year high of $49.2 billion in April-February 2014-15.
According to the latest figures of the RBI, it bought $115.9 billion from the market during the period while it sold $66.7 billion.
The move was aimed at reducing rupee volatility on account of higher inflow and increase forex reserves to cushion any external shock.

More than 900 people are feared dead after a smuggler boat carrying migrants capsized in the Mediterranean sea in the early hours of Sunday morning - making it one of the worst maritime disaster since the end of World War II.
This tragedy comes just days after another shipwreck in the area claimed 400 lives. It is thought both boats capsized after those on board rushed to one side to signal to passing merchant ships
