1. YES BANK partners BLUE DART and SNAPDEAL to revolutionise Cash on Delivery model

YES BANK, India’s 5th largest private sector Bank has partnered with BLUE DART, South Asia’s premier express air and integrated transportation, distribution and logistics company and Snapdeal, India’s largest online market place to enhance the “Cash on Delivery” (COD) model by making strategic interventions in the Financial Supply Chains of these companies.
This unique integration through a proprietary system will enable Snapdeal to receive COD proceeds from BLUE DART in a faster, streamlined fashion and also help with faster payments to suppliers. The system is expected to greatly enhance the Financial Supply Chain of the company and eventually allow Snapdeal to pass on the benefits to the customers.

2. Navy signs Rs 5,000 crore pact with Russian shipbuilder Zvezdochka for Kilo class submarine refit 

The Indian Navy is looking to squeeze some more life out of its two decade old kilo class submarines, signing up a contract with Russia to extend the service life of the boats to 35 years. Struggling with a depleted underwater fleet, the Navy has finalized a contract with Russian shipbuilder Zvezdochka and will be sending the first submarine for the refit in June next year. 

3. Jharkhand, GAIL sign MOU for gas pipeline

The Jharkhand government and GAIL (India) Limited on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a 340-km long gas pipeline in the state.

The MoU was signed between officials of the Jharkhand government and GAIL in the presence of Chief Minister Raghubar Das. The project will be completed by 2019.

4. MoU between India-Taipei Association (ITA) in Taipei and Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) in India 

The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved the MoU between the India-Taipei Association (ITA) in Taipei and Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) in India. The MoU is on cooperation in the field of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. 
he objective of the MoU is to promote the cooperation between the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises between the two Parties. It provides a structured framework and enabling environment to the MSME sector of the two Parties to understand each other's strengths, markets, technologies, policies etc.

5. India and Maldives ink two MoUs 

India and the Maldives Thursday agreed to "amicably resolve" all differences, including over cancellation of Indian company GMR's contract to run Male International Airport, as visiting Maldivian President Abdullla Yameen held talks here with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the two sides inked three MoUs. 

"Three MoUs have been signed. Two are related to health and human resource development and one on the diplomatic front," 

6. L&T inks MoU with Adani Ports for Kattupalli port in TN

Adani Ports and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) today said they have inked a pact to oversee operations of Kattupalli Port in Tamil Nadu.
"Adani Ports (Adani) has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with L&T Shipbuilding (L&T) for evaluating the operations of the port at Kattupalli, Tamil Nadu, with effect from October 2015 for one month,” Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) said in a filing to BSE.
APSEZ in June got the Kerala government’s nod for developing the Rs. 4,089-crore Vizhinjam International Deepwater Seaport project.
